Michele, you mentioned the genealogy work your brother has done back to the 1600s. Does he take the Kinslow/Kincheloe line back to Ireland? As I understand, the Kincheloe name became Kinslow in Barren County (probably due to the phonetic spelling of the census taker). Ambrose Kinslow is my ancestor. My father (age 87) pronounces our name with a very soft middle syllable--Kin (sah)low. John Kincheloe of Raleigh, NC has written two very nice books about the Irish heritage of the Kincheloe's.
