A little food for thought. I have an Amanda Kinslow in my line who could possible be the Amanda who married Henry Darter. She was the daughter of James Thomas Kinslow and Amanda Byers. She was born in Illinois and her mother died shortly after her birth. Her father was born in Ky and her mother in TN.
James remarried and the family moved to Pope County Arkansas. Mandy is living with the Blythe's in the 1880 census. The remainder of the children are listed with Nancy Kinslow. The Amanda living with Henry Darter says she was born in Ark and both parents were born in TN. It could be either women.
I do not see an Amanda living with Martha in 1880, only a Candis who marries a McAdams. What do you think of the situation? Am I missing something?
