James Kinslow and Ella Cooksey are my great grandparents. Both were born in Kentucky (James had a brother named Jack). Their children Are Thomas William (my grandpa-Married to Margeret H. Murphy), Dorothy (married to Everette Bowman), Christine (married to James Shive), Evelyn (married to Leonard Mallory), Helen, Ray J. (Married to Margaret E. Stevenson) and Ruth (married twice). Ella Cooksey's first name may be Mary and I was also told she probably native american (cherokee). They later moved to Illinois, possibly Colfay where my grandfather was born. If anyone has any info or thinks this sounds familiar to their family please write back. Thank you, Megan.
