Hi Fiona
I hope this e-mail finds you well as you haven't posted in a while.Sadly, Barry (my uncle) died a few years ago, aged just 59.
Barry originally got interested in our family history through me back in 1988.My school teacher's G Grandmother's maiden name was KINSLOW and when I started in his history class aged just 13, he said to the class that it was a brand new start for all of us, if they didn't like history they would from now on."So a brand new start, I don't know anything about any of you, except for one person and that person is Mark Kinslow and I will ask him to stay behind after class", said my school teacher. You can imagine I was worried that I had got into trouble - yet been in the school just two days!He explained that his G Grandmother's maiden name was KINSLOW and there was a good chance we were related in some way - sure enough, we were - 4th cousins I believe.
So Barry used that information to try and go forward (or rather back) with no real progress made.
Anyway, I have recently picked up the bug and wanted to send you this message to see if you had any further information on Mary, her siblings or her parents?
Again, I hope this message finds you well and look forward to hearing from you.
Regards
Mark.
