Who were Martha Jane's parents?
When did they move to Texas?
Where did they move from?
My grandfather was William H. Kinslow, b.18 Mar 1847, Barren County, Kentucky, d. abt 1918, Fannin County, Texas. He moved to Texas from Kentucky sometime after Aug 1891 and before Nov 1892. He settled in Pottsboro, which is in Grayson County and not far from Whitesboro.
William H. was a physician. He received his medical diploma in Kentucky. I could never figure why he moved to a tiny town like Pottsboro. Later he located his medical practice in Fannin County.
After reading your inquiry about Martha Jane, it seems probable that he moved to that area because there already were other family members there. If so, it is likely we are related and are researching similar lines.
