1. Conrad (Kinslow)(Kunzle)(Kinsal)(Gensle) and Margaret Walls. Both may have been born in Germany. Information differs on Conrad but for Margaret, it is pretty definite that she came directly from Germany to this country. Conrad and Margaret came to this country in August 1750 and landed at Philadelphia. They had two children at that time, (Conrad and Savina). He went to Berks County, PA in 1753 where he had a land grant for 25 acres. In 1755 another child, a girl named Katrina, was born. Later he was in Agusta County, VA where he bought some items at a sale. He was in the French-Indian war and was deceased by August 1758. (My source for this information is Marietta Mansfield, Louisville, KY, a Kinslow decendent.)
2. Conrad, Jr. and Rachael Barlow (Berler);
Conrad made his way across the mountains to the Hebron Church Community in Culpepper (now Madison) County, VA. He met and married Rachael Barlow (Berler) the daughter of Adam Barlow (Berler) and Elizabetha Schmidt/Smith. The Barlow's (Berler"s) came to this country in 1717 as part of the Second Germanna Colony. (Source: Before Germanna, authored by Gary J. Zimmerman and Johni Cerny, 12 booklets.)
Conrad and Rachaels"s children were;
1. Elizabetha b. 2Nov1773.
2, Nimrod b. 18Dec1775.
3. Ambrose (Ambrosius) b. 13Feb1778.
4. Joshua b. 18Oct1780.
5. Adam b. 2Feb1783.
6. Nancy b. 22Nov1785.
7. Aaron b. 4Jan1792.
8. Margaret (Peggy) b. 20Dec1794.
9. Ezekiel b.1797.
10.Andrew b. 6Sep1800.
The first eight children were born in VA. Ezekiel and Andrew were born in KY. (Source: Church records of Hebron Lutheran Church, Madison, VA, translated by George M. Smith) I have no record of when Conrad and Rachael left VA and went to KY.
