Greetings, Fellow Kinsolvings!

Hello! How exciting to read some of the items you've posted -- I am daughter of Les Kinsolving who is a talk show host in Maryland. My Grandfather was Bishop of Arizona, and Great-Great Uncle Hubert was Bishop of Texas. Lee Kinsolving the actor was a distant cousin. When I went to Aunt Lucie's memorial service (she was sister of Grandpop)I met his brother Gus, who said I looked a lot like him -- I was very flattered! It's great to read your postings, and I would love to hear more about where you think we came from. My Uncle William thinks one of our ancestors was a Welsh horse thief, and my cousin Charlie believes we originated from Safardic Jews. My father visited Isle of Man once and found the name "Kinvig" -- he thinks a Viking impregnated a woman on the Isle (a 'Manx'), and gave her his nordic name. They added "sol" to it which meant sun. I think that's probably the best ancestry idea yet! Look forward to hearing from some of you sometime!
