Verona Kinsolving, 3 years old, died 25 May 1858, born Marshall County to Madison Bushwood Galetin and Nette Kinsolving.

Thursday, 28 Jan 1892. H. P. Kinsolving, who was commonly called "Bud" when we were all boys, is now a man of wealth and influence in the town of Malden, Missouri. He is a staunch Republican and from that cause is postmaster under President Harrison. He is owner and proprietor of the largest drug store in that fast growing city, besides he is president of the Dunklin County Bank.

Wednesday, 5 Jul 1893. The sad news of the death of Mrs. Vienna M. Dyke, the wife of Mr. John Dyke of Paducah, was indeed a surprise to host of friends in this county. She was taken this day one week with a severe case of flux, in a short time after which she was taken she gave birth to an infant which brought about a complication of troubles over which her physician had no control. She gradually grew worse until Sunday. She was the youngest daughter of Mr. Kinsolving, who once lived three miles east of town and was the sister of H. P. Kinsolving of Malden, Missouri. Her remains were brought out on the train Monday morning and laid to rest beside her mother and people in the family burying ground on the old homestead where she was born and raised. She leaves a sorrowing husband, one grown daughter and the infant child.

Wednesday, 29 Aug 1894. Miss Ruth Dyke left the other day for Malden, Missouri where she will visit her uncle, H. P. Kinsolving, for some time.

Thursday, 15 May 1902. At the Republican congressional convention recently held at Cape Girardeau, Missouri, H. P. Kinsolving, formerly of Marshall County, but now for many years a citizen of Malden, Missouri was unanimously nominated for congress on the Republican ticket in the 15th Congressional District. Mr. Kinsolving, known as "Bud" has gotten rich since he left Kentucky and also he has gotten to be a Republican.

Thursday, 26 Jan 1905. Some details on a Marshall County wedding between Mr. H. P. Kinsolving of Malden, Missouri and Mrs. Belle Long of Birmingham, Marshall County Kentucky. About 30 years ago, Mr. Kinsolving, who was raised in Marshall County, was married to Miss Eliza Heath of the same section on 4 Jul 1877, he was 24 and she was 25. She lived many years and died in Malden, Missouri. She had a young sister who grew to womanhood and married Mr. John Long, a merchant of Birmingham. They lived happily together until he died about three years ago. In the meantime, Mr. Kinsolving, who was a druggist and a banker, became rich. A few years ago he married a highly respected lady of Ohio. They lived together until some time since, when on account of domestic troubles, were separated and divorced. His mind reverted back to the family of his first wife and his love centered on his sister-in-law, Mrs. Belle Long. They were married Friday, 19 Jan 1905 at Benton.

Friday, 3 Mar 1911. Mr. and Mrs. M. E. (Blant) Heath of Birmingham, Marshall County were here last week visiting their daughter, Mrs. Belle Kinsolving. Mr. Heath and his estimable wife have been married 63 years, longer perhaps than any other couple in the county. Mrs. Heath is 80 years old and Mr. Heath is 82.
