Dear Rose,

I do not have the answer to your questions, but I think that I have some information, which may pertain to it.

There is a possible Freeman (spelled Fruman)P. Kinyon on the 1820 Federal Census, living in Holland, Niagara, which later became Holland, Erie County, New York. There is also an Arnold Kinyon, but he is younger than Fruman/Freeman. Fruman is listed in the 45 years and up, age category. This would make his birth year no later than 1775, and could certainly have been earlier. It is more likely that Arnold may have been the son of Freeman, as Arnold is listed in the 26 to 44 age category, with three children under the age of 10.

It sounds like you have family information. I would certainly like to know more about the information you have on these families and where you obtained this information, as I also have an interest in them.

Hope this helps.

Marilyn Kenyon
