There was a Charles F. and Marie Kircher on the 1930 Census of Chicago. They lived at 6422-4 Maryland Ave. Charles was a janitor at a local school it seems. Both of his parents were born in Illinois. Marie, his wife, was born in Oklahoma, her father in Indiana, her mother in Vermont.

If you look on page 13A or 196, or 25 of 47 of's online data, ED 246 of the 1930 Census in Chicago. The census was taken on April 14, 1930.

Children of this couple.

Charles E. 2 3/12 (which may be the husband of Margaret Cleary.

Another child was Mary E. 3 3/12 and the baby, Juilia age 1/12.

Hope this proves to be a lead for your contact. IRT to my records, I did a "Map" in my FTM, and I apparently do have "hits" in Chicago. Will look for who later and get back to you.

Tommy Kircher
