That information is basically correct based on the www.familysearch.org web site. The family lived for generations in Remering-les-Hargarten, a town in the Moselle region of France. The batch number on the family search web site is M813981. That will get you to their marriage records. I have not ordered the microfilm to read the original material, but the French kept detailed family information on the couple getting married and their parents and witnesses. Instead of Michael the record shows the French "Michell" Kircher marrying Catharina Altmayer.
