Hi, My name is Lisa Coker.
My grandmothers father was named John Kirchharr but we have been told he changed his name when he and his brothers arrived in the states sometime in the 1880s. He had several sons that it is said he name after his brothers.
Reuben, Lovely, John Emmons, Jacob, George, Richard and Herman.
Each US censes has a different name spelling and different year of immigration.
Would love to find out more information on the family.
He settled in a small community in rural Alabama. Monroe County.
