Henry (Heinrich) and Casper, Kaspar, or Caspar Kirchhoff / Kirchhof / Kirchoff

Anybody connected with or know about a Casper Kirchhoff, Caspar Kirchhoff, or Kaspar Kirchhoff, born about 1836 in Prussia and associated with a mill (he owned it) in Pittsburgh?

He may well have been my great-great-great-grandfather's brother.

There's also a Henry (Heinrich) Kirchhoff who appears in the St. Clair Co., IL Census (1860) and shows up - if it's the same guy - as the godfather of my great-great-granduncle Henry Kirchhoff...also in St. Clair Co., IL.

Again, I'm thinking it might be Wil Kirchhoff's brother. You'll see variants such as Kirchoff, Kirchhof, and Kirchhoff, along with different vowels - typically subbing an "e" for the "i" and even, at times, the inclusion of a "k" in place of one or more of the "h's."

Caspar died in appears he left money to Wil Kirchhoff's son, Jacob (Jake), another of my great-great-granduncles.

Just thought I'd cast the net and see what I caught.

Casper's children included a Henry and a William (or could it have been a William Henry...?).
