Kirkbride, Smith, Purcell, Kendall - Daviess Co., IN - late 1800s

Since my last posting (132) I have found a bit of information regarding Elvina (or Melvina) Kirkbride and Edward B. Smith.

Per the 1880 Daviess Co., IN census, she would have been born ca 1845 in OH daughter of two OH born parents. He would have been born in OH ca 1845 and at least his mother was born in Eng. The father's birth place is missing.

In 1880 they had the following children:
Lenora bn ca 1866 VA
Charles T bn ca 1868 IL
Fred W bn ca 1872 IL
Herbert bn ca 1874 IL
Denvy bn ca 1876 IN
George Curtis bn 25 June 1880 Daviess Co. IN
I believe there was at least one more child Frank who married a Clara and lived in southern MO.

George married Martha Jane (Jennie) Purcell on 10 March 1908. in Washington, Daviess Co., IN

Martha Jane was born 3 April 1884 daughter of Milton Purcell and Sarah Francis Kendall.

I would appreciate any information on the ancestors of Edward B Smith or Elvina (Melvina) Kirkbride. Where/when were they born, married, etc.? In their lifetime they appear to have lived in four states, at a time when people weren't as mobile as they are today. Where/when did they live in these states?

Thank you,
Lee Skelton
