You mentioned Isaac, Gideon, William, Drury, etc. I am a descendent of the Gideon Kirksey I find on the 1860 Monroe County, AL census. He is there listed as 30 years old, born in SC, wife Siddy(?) and 3 daughters, Margaret, Mary, Eliza. (Eliza married John Francis Howell in Butler County, AL -- my g-grandparents.) Gideon fought in Civil War, died Nov. 10, 1863 at Mobile, AL. Is my Gideon the same as your Gideon? Thanks for any help. Ken Johnson
