I now live in Huntsville, AL. but I grew up in southeast Alabama. My mother grew up in Pike County. I periodically go to Pike County, AL to visit relatives who still live there. A few years ago I placed markers at what I was told were the burial spots for Isaac Kirkey (1796) and his wife. I have her anme and the name of what I believe is a fairly complete list of their children in my files. As I recall, William was one of their children.
