Looking to go backward (progenitors) from Joseph Kiser born abt 1825 in Kentucky who married 15 FEb 1852 to Mary J Newkirk born 12 June 1829 in Rush co. Indiana.---8 children (William, James , Rebecca, George, Jefferson, Sarah, Ellsworth, and Elmer who were twins (last 2). Born from 1854 to 1869)

His father was also Joseph Kiser born 1790 in Kentucky and married Rebecca Marfers or Marxers in 1813 in Kentucky. This Joseph had 6 children that I know (Julie Ann, James, Joseph, William John and Mary) born from 1813 to 1835 in Kentucky and Indiana.
