Hello Norma,

I'm not sure how helpful this will be to you, but it could be a lead for you ...

My grandmother was Velma Inez Kissee. She was born in 1903 near Rogersville, MO, which is just north of Taney County. Our ancestors before her lived in Taney County, and so did I at one time.

Velma Inez Kissee married John Roller in the 1920's. They are now buried in Roller Cemetery near Rogersville, MO. I've been to the cemetery several times, and I've noticed quite a few plots with the name Kissee on them. Since Roller Cemetery has been around since the early 1800's, it's possible that the administrator of Roller Cemetery could have some information you are looking for.

Just a thought. Maybe we're cousins? =)

son of Dorothy Marie Roller Sundberg
daughter of Velma Inez Kissee Roller
