I think that it is an interest for your mother to name you with last name as Kazze rather than Kissee. As far as I know from the book concerning Early Keesee Family History written by Vincent A. Keesee, Ph.D of Tifton, GA, mentioning several other spellings of the last names who were descended to Richard Keesee of Pittsylvania Co, VA. These spelling of the last names were "Kissee", "Kozzie", "Kizzee" "Kazzie". Most of Keesee surnames are mainly found in eastern states of the U.S. and some in Tennessee, Arkansas and Texas while the other surnames with different spellings are found mostly in West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, and California. So your KAZZE may be similiar to Kazzie, and that is what I think.
