I was informed by a fellow Kissee researcher that the home of Jasper Kissee that was burned was actually in Vera Cruz, MO near present day Ava. The farm was located in what is the Mark Twain National forest near Ava. There is a community of Kissee Mills, MO, but I'm not finding all the links, but feel certain that I am related to some of the MANY Kissees that resided there.
