I have run across the names you mention, but I, like many others can't find how all the MO/AR Kissee/Keesees connect. You know they have to, with so many of them concentrating in the same area. I just recently read about the Baldknobbers. Two of Jasper's boy lived on a farm of a man who was suppose to be a Jayhawker, and knowing the strong southern feelings that were still in my family with my grandmother's generation, it would fit some of these other activities.

Don't give up hope, I think we will find the connection. It would appear that some of them came much earlier than the others and I think cousins, whatever came to join the folks that had found the Ozarks so appealing.
