Kitch Genealogy records -- where is Ben Schultz?

I was talking to my mother on the phone today about the Kitch/Stark/Orner genealogy records that were in my father's possession when he died. He had borrowed them from a cousin named Ben Schultz. My mother has been at a loss what to do with them, as she wishes to obtain copies of the genealogical information relavent to our family, but since my father died and my mother and sister have been having trouble with their health, nothing has been done with the records. I live a thousand miles away and have trouble with my health too, so though I would like to assist her with this, I don't think I can, as I can't afford to travel there.

These are the notes I took during our conversation when my mother was explaining what the records are, where they came from, and who is the rightful owner thereof. Since some of you have asked me about the records I thought I would share the info to make certain that if something should happen to my mother, the records don't just disappear. Eight boxes is a lot of genelogical information, some of you will recall that Mabel Kitch was the author of a book on the Kitch genealogy.

"Dad [William Huey Kitch] borrowed the genealogy stuff from Ben Schultz of Kansas City, he was the grandson of Mary Alice Kitch, then she married Fleming and had two daughters, Caroline and another daughter. Caroline married Ernie Schultz and had two children: Ben and a girl, then they were divorced. Her father was a Judge, Judge Fleming in Litchfield, IL area. They didn't call her Caroline, they called her Vickie. They were stored at Ernie's. When Mabell Kitch died all her property went to Alice Fleming, then when Alice died Caroline inherited (sister already dead) then Caroline died not too long after her mother did, and Ben and his sister got them. Ben lived in Kansas City, c 1996 that Dad traced him and he had some records, but that wasn't what Dad wanted. Ben said other things were stored at his father's house (Ernie?) in Manhattan? Kansas, it was a town with a college or university. I'm honor bound to return them to the original owner. There's 8 boxes of computer records. They were all mixed together and Dad sorted them. There's a great big Bible in there."--source: Jimmie Lou Bowen Kitch, 2001

My question is, does Ben Schultz want the records back? Does anyone know Ben or how to contact him? Is he still alive?
