Wrong Kitch. Our line is descended from ancestors from Prussia. They arrived in America before the Revolution.

I have since followed up with my mother, and she tells me that my father and his father used a lot of Low German words, that sound very much like Yiddish, but to her knowledge they do not have Jewish ancestry.
