Dave Are your Kitch's of German Descent? My Kitch line, as well as others of my line were called Palitines. They came to the U. S. do to unrest. Read an article stating that England invited Pallitine immigrants to England, Ireland and the U.S.. The reason given in the article was to give England more protestants and to be a buffer between the English and the Indians in the U.S. In Ireland it was to give them more strength in the country.
