Lowell- I don't know if Tom is interested (I'm sure he is) but I certainly am interested in any information you can provide about Johann or his wife, especially her maiden name, so I can continue my research into my family tree. In your posting you mentioned the "first David". I assume you mean the son of Martin. Seems that would make him our common ancestor. Glad to meet you.
