JACOB KITCH from PA
Posted by: R B Highsmith Date: March 27, 2000 at 07:10:28

A friend, who is a collector of old books, acquired an old Bible (1849) that had a card in it that read:
IN MEMORY OF JACOB KITCH LATE OF Co. E, 200 Reg., Pa. Vol. DIED JUNE 3RD, 1915.
Unfortunately the Bible does not have any written lineage. It is inscribed:
"To: My Mother. From: Your Daughter"
With an 1852 date.
The Bible does include two pictures, one of a young girl and other of a young lady. Neither have any ID but one was a professional photo taken by a photographer in Carlisle, PA.
If you have interest please contact me direct as I do not monitor this board.
