I may be of your line of Kitchen's. My grandmother Lula had a brother named Fred, he was rumored to be half Cherokee. His mother Sinthia? was rumored to have been abducted by the Cherokee at a young age and Fred was conceived while she was married to a Cherokee warrior. She was later released and there was some rumor of a Perkins family taking her in and possibly adopting her! She later married Kitchen (where Fred received a last name) and together had many more children including my gGrandmother Lula. I know of a couple sisters....Effie & Clyde. Lula married Walter Haney and they had about 5 children including my grandfather Everette Edward b. 1916 Kentucky. The family later moved to West Virginia where Lula and Walter remained. Effie was also there, she lived to be about 100yrs old. Lula died late 1970's and Walter followed soon after. My grandfather E.Edward died 1997 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. There is one daughter whose name I know, June Haney Buster. Any info you can share with me would be appreciated.
