Levin and Hamilton were popular first names in the Savage family. That's why I have had a hard time getting them straight.
They go back to
Sir John Savage B- abt 1506 Clifton, Cheshire England
married to
Elizabeth Manners, who goes back to the Plantagenets.
Her Mother -Elinor Paston Her father -Thomas Manners
There's also a home called "Rock Savage" you might check on the history of it's occupants.

Sometimes, it's easier to go farther back in history, and track the line forward, to present. I haven't been able to fully document this, which is why I hadn't posted it. On my Webb side, My Grandfather always claimed we were realated to Daniel Boone, which we never believed as children. But, when I started with the Boones, and moved forward, and then back again, I was able to make several connections. I have also found family history and stories that had been passed down, told by other parts of the family. I wish Grandpa was still here so I could show him what I have dug up.

When someone with the same last name posts, go back and read their "posting history" there are valuables pieces of info. there too.
