Jacob Wood Kittle married sisters: Sarah Ann Chase & Susanna Chase in Switzerland County, IN My grandmother's cousin was Lillie Bailey who married Manley Chase. Lillie's family stated that Sarah &Susanna were daughters of James W. Chase. (no wife's name of
James W Chase).
My cousin Harold Chase has most of the Chase family info. If I can help anymore let me know. Lillie Bailey Chase died last year at the tender age of 102.
Also, I sent to Mike Holland part of Elias Wood Kittle's line. I do know that Elias had
a daughter who was killed by a falling tree on their way to Indiana. The daughter's first
name was not listed. I feel that there were more children of Elias then Robert L Kittle &
Jacob Wood Kittle. Have you ever heard of a Josiah Kittle? Josiah's name was in
Switzerland County & Marion County, IN but I can't find a connection to anyone.
Only Elias's family seems so incomplete so Josiah COULD have been a son of
Elias, just no proof. Elias moved so many times. He lived in Switzerland County, IN, and
moved to the north side of Laughery Creek which is in Aurora, Dearborn, IN and then
moved to Mercer Co. OH.
