Louisa Kittles and Joseph D. Thomas are my ancestors. They married 30 Dec 1829 in Screven Co, GA. I have Joseph born in Richmond Co, GA. From GA CD225 (1754-1850)
They had the following children:

Jefferson J THOMAS b abt 1831,
Pinkney Eugene THOMAS b 10 May 1833 GA - d: 6 Apr 1893 Water Valley (near), Yahobuska Co, MS. Pinkney married Annie Nations (b 15 Oct 1835 GA, d 30 Jul 1903/07 Calhoun Co, MS); (my line)
Joseph H. THOMAS b abt 1834 GA
Julie E. D. THOMAS b abt 1835 GA
Robert THOMAS b abt 1842 GA
Washington THOMAS b abt 1846 GA
Jackino THOMAS (male) b. abt 1846 GA

Joseph D. Thomas was killed by carpetbaggers, in GA div 77 Richmond Co.
Listed in 1850 census Richmond Co, 73rd Division.

Son Pinkney listed in census 1880 Enumeration Dist 15, Calhoun Co, MS microfilm 254,642 pg 20, lines 20-28. Says his father was born in GA & mother in SC. Shows Pinkney & family.
