Still doggedly pursuing my unknown Kittle/Kettle ancestors, but with refined information. Seeking a Mr. Kettle, given name unknown, who would have married Angeline Phelps, dau. of Griswold Phelps, abt. 1832-1834. Location unknown, but Angeline was prob. b. in Susquehanna or Wyoming Co., PA, and the Phelps family had ties to Delaware Co., NY. I think that this Angeline was likely the mother of Emily Kettle who married Samuel Hamblet of Delaware Co., NY, then of Branch Co., MI, Iowa, Nebraska, and Idaho. Any clue would be welcome! dp
