In southeastern Indiana, there was a William W Kittle, born 1842 and died during the Civil War (don't have an exact death date). This William W. Kittle, was the s/o Daniel C Kittle & Mary Ann Downey. Daniel & Mary are both buried in Mt Pleasant Cem. Rising Sun, Ohio Co. IN. Mary's brother was a judge in Dearborn Co, IN. Daniel C Kittle was the s/o Daniel & Catharine Kittle. Catharine is buried next to her son Daniel & wife. AND Daniel died in Sept 1816, Parkersburg, Wood Co. WV. There is a picture of Catharine's gravestone on the Virtual Cemetery in Genforum. Hope this helps.
