Ephraim Kittle, Manlius, Onondaga Co., NY, 1840

Seeking wife and children of the Ephraim Kittel/Kittle listed in the Federal Census of 1840, Manlius, NY. His parents and the year of his death would be other useful facts.

I think my ggg-grandmother, Harriet (Phelps??) (Kittle) Butler might have married her first husband, Mr. Unknown Kittle, in Manlius or in Delaware Co., NY, and he died (more likely than divorced) in the mid-1840s. In 1847, Harriet Kittle (sic) married Clinton Butler in Steuben Co., IN, where in the 1850 Federal Census, her Kittel (sic) children were listed as Emily, William H., and John C.

Without Mr. Kittle's first name, I'm stuck, and I'm wondering if Ephraim might fit the known details.
