I know it has been a long time since you posted this message, and you have probably found information since that time. I am researching the Russell line, and in 1860 Abigail is found in Indiana with son and daughter from 1st marriage to Asa Russell. Lewis E. would have only been about 10 or 11, but he is not with her. She has taken back the name of Russell. Abigail was widowed and married Micajah in 1849 Smith Co. TN.
I posted on the Kitrell genforum also because the name is spelled differently in different places. Is Micajah the same as Micklejohn. Micajar is found on the 1840 census with a family, and a micaljohn is found on the 1820 census with a family. Both in Smith Co. TN. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks.
