The information I have originally came from a hand written gen. list done by my husband's uncle who started with William Samuel Kittle and Elizabeth Wionna Burns from Scotland, so no parents named. Probably because they were the first generation in the US. Since then other Kittle family researchers have confirmed what Uncle Paul wrote. It seems that William was of an age and in the right place to have fought in the Rev. War, but I am unable to find a record of this. If you run across anything I would appreciate a shout out. Thanks, Kay
