Adam KITSMILLER, Pennsylvania, Maryland, and Ohio

George Adam Kitsmiller was born January 19, 1744; baptized three days later at New Holland, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Jacob Kitzmiller and Anna Margaretha Somer and a descendant of the Kitziller/Kitzmüller family that originated in the village of Helfenburg in the Mühlviertel of Upper Austria, and later of Immeldorf and Leimen, Germany.

He lived at Paxtang, Pennsylvania during the Revolutionary War; later in Washington County, Maryland before moving to Bloom Township, Fairfield County, Ohio in about 1800. He died in Bloom Township in 1805 and his widow, Elizabeth, might have moved back to Maryland to live with some of her children. Adam and Elizabeth had 15 children: Adam, Jr., Catherine, Jacob, Benjamin (from whom I'm descended), John, William, Rosina, Jonathan, Rhoda, Andrew, Milton, Susannah, Samuel and a son and daughter whose names are not known.

I need Elizabeth's maiden name and any information about her and I would like to hear from other descendants.

Benjamin was born about 1776 and died about 1856 in Logan, Ohio. I need the maiden name and any information about his wife, Elizabeth.

Benjamin's oldest son, Daniel, was born in 1805 in Bloom Township and later married Anna "Nancy" Karnes. He died in 1863 in Logan, Ohio. I recently found and bought their 1829 family Bible containing a considerable amount of information about at least one line of their descendants.

I need any information about Anna KARNES who was born in 1810 in "Old" Virginia and died in 1891, the oldest resident of Logan, Ohio at the time.
