I have just posted a new biography that I wrote about my 2nd-great-grandfather William M. Kizer (1837-1895). See http://arslanmb.org/kiser/Bio-WilliamMKizer-163.pdf. He was a son of Valentine Kizer, Jr. and Frances Davis, who were probably married in Bedford County, Tennessee around 1830 and moved to Missouri soon afterwards. Valentine and Frances died in Osage County, Missouri around 1852, leaving five children. These children, William M. Kizer and his siblings, all moved to Franklin County, Arkansas around 1854, settling near the Cravens community. William married in 1859 to Thurza Malinda Shaver. He died there in 1895, she in 1919. I'd like to correspond with anyone descended from this family.
