I am also a decendant of Newton and Malinda. Here's what I know: Newton's parents were not John and Nancy (they were his grandparents). His parents were Hardin (I think his official name was James Hardin, but am not sure about that). Newt's mother was Margaret (I dont have a maiden name). Hardy was born in 1837 and Margaret in 1835. They all lived in McNairy County. Newton's son, William H. is my grandfather. I don't know much about John and Nancy. John was born around 1808 or so. I can track him in McNairy County starting in the 1840 census all the way through the 1880 census. If you want a full listing of the children, you can let me know.
