Sometimes you find exactly what you need when you need it. Vernal (it's Vernal and Vernon in the 1850 and 1860 census records) was my great-great grandfather. His first wife may have been Catherine, but it looks like he may have married again. He and Catherine had three sons. Later on, two daughters were born: my g-grandmother Lucinda and her little sister (and the census says the little sister was born in Illinois). I have been pulling my hair out trying to find my g-g grandfather's line. Can someone please tell me who his parents were (I'm lost in the trail) and who his brothers and sisters were? And would someone please email me with the source of the documents where he is named? My mother turns 70 this year and I'm working on her family history as a gift for her. She's known nothing of her family history at all until I began working on it for her. Thank you!
