Joy, I grew up in Parkers Crossroads and will be here for two weeks.
benjamin.
I bellieve Benjamin was s brother to David Kizer of Henderson Co ca 1830. David had a wife Mary b SC and seems to have sond John B, William Flynn, Thomas, David and probably daughters, Mary, Friona, A son and two additional daughters. One of the daughters Sarah may have married John Penix. John died before 1850 and Mary ca 1860. The Thomas Kizer you mentioned was a son of William Flynn. I can find no info on Thomas after the war. My grandfather the said we were cousion of the descendents of Thomas, son of David. I cannot find any other family connection other than Thomas Kiser. My line is of coures Robert, brother of Vernon, both sons of Benjamin. Benjamin shows up Henderson Co ca 1838 and moves to Miss after 1840. Vernon, Robert, Elizabeth, married and remained in Henderson Co. I have not located Polly Gilliam or her husband. There were some Gilliams in Henderson Co ca 1840's.
My suspected brother Benjamin left no will or detail estate records that exists.
I located a Benjamin Kizer on the 1812 war list of dickson Co. It may or may not be the same Benjamin. I have not searched the 1812 pension records for any application.
There is a Kizer family if Montgomery Co ca 1800. Descendents of this family also moved to Marshall Co Miss ca 1840's. To date I have been unable to locate any connection. I have not checked the 1880 census to determine if any of these Montgonery Co Kizer descendents list Pa as a birthplace.
Any thpughts or additions??
