Was possibly originally spelled Kizzire until 2 brothers got into an argument. They separated from each other, 1 or both changed the way they spelled their last name. Another story is that some Kizzire brothers were caught stealing horses but got away, then changed the spelling of their last names so they couldn’t be found or traced back to the crime.
