My grandmother's first marriage was to an Elick Alonzo Kizziah. Elick's parents were a James Alexander Kizziah from North Carolina and (Mary?) Lydia (Ann?) Hayes (b. 1855 Cumberland Co., TN).

Elick and his siblings:
Elick Alonzo Kizziah b. 7/7/1884 Rockwood, TN
Jack Kizziah, Rockwood, TN
Joe Kizziah, Rockwood, TN
James Andrew Kizziah, 8/6/1895 Rockwood, TN.

I am curious is this line is connected with the James Kizziah mentioned in other messages here in NC.

I would like to find out more about Elick, even though not my grandfather, he was my grandmother's first husband. Elick was part of a Medicine Show Company, I believe the U-Ta-Ka company. They were actually married at one of the shows on 8/22/1931 by Rev. Cadenhead. Elick was also known as "Arkansas Sam" and I believe he had a stage last name of Rogers.

I'd be interested in any information others may have and will share what I know.

Thanks,
Darrel
