I do not have any evidence of a John KLAWITTER yet. Do you know where your John KLAWITTER came from in Germany? Another cousin is searching the LDS records and I will let her know you are looking for him. Anything is possible with this family. They were pretty secretative. Did your John go directly to Fairfield Madison, Nebraska or did he come through Wisconsin?
The Julius KLAIWTTER that we are trying to connect to is Julius T. KLAWITTER, b. 1848 and my line of Ludwig KLAWITTER b. 1843. There is a Gottlieb KLAWITTER b. 1827 that seems to have lived near MIlwaukee, WI and died in Marquette County, WI. His connection to any of the above is not known yet.
