Ok, but there is still one problem. We are probably of the same Kleber family but there is one problem with the connection with Augustine and Anthony directly. This is part of a letter my father wrote. "Grandad Kleber and his brother came from Wittenberg Germany in about 1842 or 43. He was a cooper by trade and landed in Aalbany N.Y. In a few years he Marred Grandma Hart before signing the marrage certificate he and his brother asked if they could sign it adding one more E to the name. At that time our name went from Kleber to Kleeber". I would presume that his brother would have retaind the Kleeber. Also from his Obituary, He was born in Wittenberg Germany July 31, 1825 He came to America when he was 20 years old. He was Married in Albany N.Y. to Miss Maria Hart Nov. 15, 1852. So I guess we both have to continue to look. It does mention that he often wondered what happned to his brother, for they were not able to communicate. Elizabeth Hoffmann seems to have the most info and was going to Germany this year to reshurch some more, but I see that you have talked with her also. May bee if she is reading ours she can give us some more input.
