named for his uncle jean baptist kleber (killed in alexandria ) johann had four sons one philip (my grandfather) and christian and two more i have records on.
i have records of their residents in town of lake, milwaukee county, wisconsin. johann is buried in forest home cemetary, after being moved from cemetary at expanded billy mitchell field the milwaukee international airport. my grandfather philip and two of his brothers were in U.S. civil war. I have all these military records from government. philip had five sons and three daughters which were my uncles and aunts and one daughter was my mother Margaret Kleber. we have tons of documents and photos to verify all this and to give you copies, however my great grandfather was proud of his relationship to jean baptist kleber,, general,, french under napoleon... send inquiries to sranders@pressenter.com
