Chlebovic (Ckle-bo-vich)

of Czechoslovakia, Vysna, Sunava, Austria/Hungary. I wonder if they modernized the name and dropped the rest of it for political reasons?

Anna M. b. 19 May 1890 in Hungarian Empire

died in Pittsburgh 30 May 1975.

Married: Porada, MJ Sr. , b. 1888 Austria, Hungary.Md. about 1909, likely Pittsburgh but do not have the date.

I do not know of a connection but the spelling certainly would give you a clue, in case the English ones did not ever hear of it before and changed it in the records, which may have then become adopted. (Someone with a different accent and language could have changed it for sure as a listener?)

Just a thought. Good luck.
