Hey there, my name's Jim Kleman. I am a Kleman from Pennsylvania, and my name was once spelled "Kleeman." I believe that my great-great grandfather's name was Anton, but I am unaware of his wife's name or where they originated from in Europe. My great-grandfather's name was Jacob Kleman. Jacob and his brothers settled in and around Mt. Carmel, Pennsylvania, which is nestled in the mountains of North-central Pennsylvania in an area called, "The anthracite region." I am told that the Kleeman family is quite large and there are parts of it in Germany, Holland and France. If this sounds familiar to anyone, feel free to write back and tell me about yourself and I will relate what I can. And if any of my known relatives see this posting, I hope it finds you well.
