My grandmother's maiden name was Marilyn Kleiman. Although she was born here in NYC, she is jewish. Her father, Ruben (Robert) Kleiman was born in NYC in 1900 and died of a heart attack in 1949. My grandmother was born in 1929 and is still living. Ruben's (or Robert's) father was Jacob Kleiman, dates and places uncertain. As far as I know, there was also another brother. Ruben married a Rose Rosner in 1923, I believe.

Thank you,
MJ Schoen
