Same folk all right. This is great, Tony. Margaret died sometime before 1917, when my grandmother Edith Alice Lane nee Malcolm, who had been widowed when my grandfather John Laurence Lane died in 1912, married Frederick Kleinstuber. Edith and John had had four children, Aileen (my mother), Molly (died as a five-year-old), Chas, and Edie. Frederick and Edith had one child subsequently, Billy Kleinstuber, who was therefore half-brother to Aileen, Chas and Edie, and also to the existing Kleinstuber children Dora, Sammy, Freddie, Kitty and Nellie. The Lane and Kleinstuber children were steps. Frederick was known as "Pa Kleiner" to the children, or at least to the Lane children. That was how my mother always referred to her step-father. I have an online family tree in place at geni.com and would be delighted to invite you to join it via Margaret's entry. I would need names for Margaret's sister and your mother to connect you up, after which you would then be in a position to add in whatever details you have and access all the Kleinstuber and Lane details already there. My direct email is eamon (at) maguidhir.com if you'd like to communicate off-message. regards, Eamon Notify Administrator about this message?
