KLEMENT family of Medford, Taylor County, Wisconsin

Hello - I am looking for my european ancestors. My great-great-grandfather is Vincent Klement. According to US Census records, he was born in July, 1836 and immigrated to the USA in 1882. We believe he came from Austria, possibly the Bohemia region (which is now Czechoslovakia). Vincent's wife, Annie (maiden name unknown) and his son, Frank Klement, immigrated to the USA a year later in 1883. We also believe there was a daughter, but have no name. The family settled in the township of Medford, Taylor County, Wisconsin.

I have just started this research and am new to genealogy in general, so ANY information that can be provided about the Klement family will be appreciated (especially possible origins in Germany/Austria/Czechoslovakia).

Please reply to this post or email me at kathykjk@yahoo.com
